Before and after...

Sometimes it's necessary to carry out rescue work. This thirty year old faded colour transparency required special restoration work to give it a new lease of life.

We started by drum scanning it at a high resolution, then carried out global, local colour and tonal corrections to create a finished colour-correct high resolution image file.

This is of course not an ideal situation, but does demonstrate just what we can do when the circumstances demand it.

Colour correcting images is highly skilled work if reliable colour is your aim. You really are working in the dark if your system is not correctly colour managed.
